Harshini first heard about dialysis during her middle school years through her family friend who was suffering from kidney issues. Profoundly impacted by the changes the friend had to undergo, she wanted to be of some help. Learning about a dialysis center so close by her home, she started volunteering at the Princeton Junction dialysis center. She created the Artistic Hearts program which allows students to perform live music for patients for dialysis patients and interact with them. In return, students earn generous volunteer hours from a Fortune 500 company.
Harshini is also a Motivational Speaker and Neuroscience Research Assistant at Wellesley College. She sings in her college's a cappella group. In her free time she loves to listen to music and play tennis.
Raghunandan has been instrumental in expanding Artistic Hearts to many high schools within NJ. He has presented in many high schools and motivated his peers to give back to their community. At Artistic Hearts, Raghunandan plays multicultural music for patients and also plays the Cajon which he self taught himself.
Outside of Artistic Hearts, Raghunandan is the Co-President of his school's Environment Club and Founder of EcoNotes. During COVID-19, he created a microgreens business called The Green Wave LLC, a microgreens farm with the goal of encouraging people to eat healthily and sustainably. 40-60% of profits were donated to Covid-19 relief organizations.
Josh enjoys being involved in school and his community. He is the President of the sophomore class council and tutors kids in Plainsboro as well.
Ahana is a sophomore at WW-P High School North and has been a clarinetist for the last 5 years. Additionally, she is a former member of the Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey (YOCJ), Central Jersey Music Educator's Association (CJMEA), and also performed at Carnegie Hall. Being a girl scout for the past 10 years and currently a cadette, she loves to help her community and actively takes part in social events.
Nitin joined Artistic Hearts in his freshman year, and continues to be part the program. He is in the class of 2021, and a member of Boy Scouts, the school’s orchestra council, and plays in the All-State New Jersey Orchestra as well as his school Orchestra

Lyndon is a senior at WW-P High School South, and has been with Artistic Hearts since his sophomore year. Besides playing the violin for patients, he is an active member of his school's Science Club and Science Olympiad team. In addition, Lyndon actively contributes to his community by volunteering at his local rehabilitation center.
