Artistic Hearts is a non-profit organization which was formed with a goal to create a soothing and enhancing experience for patients as they undergo dialysis treatment by allowing student volunteers to perform live for them. A fortune 500 company and one of world's largest kidney care companies has expressed a need for student volunteers to aid in music therapy.
Since Artistic Hearts volunteers are unable to physically play music at dialysis centers at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they teamed up to send virtual holiday wishes to DaVita patients, staff, and healthcare workers.
